Dr Anne went for venue training to London 2012 on Sunday 8 July, 2012. The day was dreich to say the least with the site pretty wet underfoot and the surrounding area grey. It wasn't very inspiring to say the least.

Grey Granite, who has to rely heavily on Photoshop to get anything remotely straight, is struck by the contrast between the pictures in this post and Paris 2012. However, the area will be transformed in a couple of weeks' time, who knows the sun may even shine.
