Vienna, here we go...

Today Dr Anne and Lois were slow to get going.  Everything was a big effort. Their flat is opposite St Stephen's Cathedral so they wandered in.  An impressive church from the outside was boring when they got in.

St Stephen's Cathedral.

Dr Anne and Lois regrouped and set off for the market.  They bought some delicacies for lunch and supper.

It was one of those days so they had a long lunch before heading to the Stadtpark which was one of Dr Anne's memories of 1984.  Dr Anne had remembered the staues of:

Johann Strauss;

Schubert;

Schindler;

to name a few of the statues scattered around the park.  It was a beautiful sunny autumn day.

Suddenly Dr Anne and Lois got a second wind and off they went to Sigmund Freud's house which is now a museum.

Sigmund Freud and his daughter Anna.

Afterwards, in the Sigmund Freud cafe.

An unexpected surprise was an experimental community garden at the side of a busy road almost in the centre of a city.

Seats made from pallets.

Herbs growing in plastic bottles.

Vegetables in raised beds.
