Tales from the Vienna Woods

Yesterday Dr and Lois set off for the Vienna Woods.  They took the tram to the outskirts of the city and started climbing. It was exhilarating. 

They went as far as Kahlenberg.

They saw some vineyards.

They walked at least 15k in the woods up hills and down dales.

Families were enjoying the adventure playground at a place called 'Josephine's Huttie'.  

They saw the Danube for the first time.  

Lois was in good walking form.

They walked along the bank of the Danube back into Vienna.

The trees were beginning to turn.
