Ingredients:
1 lb butter
1 lb sugar
1 egg
2.5 lbs flour
0.5 pint milk
Method:
Cream butter and sugar adding in eggs. dd flour and work into nice workable cake batter with milk. Fill into a well greased tin. Sprinkle a few currants on top and dust with sugar.
