Bothy Day Oot

The Bothy Volunteers headed for their annual Day Oot in August.  Two cars headed east for Peterhead to the Arbuthnott Museum.  The museum was on the first floor above the library.  The group were very disappointed with the exhibits both in the permanent and temporary exhibitions.  The museum felt unloved.

In the afternoon the group were booked into the new Peterhead Prison Museum.  The welcome was exceptional, entry was free and headphones were provided. The whole ethos was excellent.

The group finished up at the Saplinbrae Hotel for supper.
