Can't believe it is Spring!

The first miniature daffodils of the year
A great show of crocuses
Dr Anne has spent the afternoon in the garden at East Neuk. One would never know because of the extent of the work to be tackled. However, every little mickle maks a muckle. Tonight she is well satisfied with the moment.

  1. When Grey Granite was little Miss Burgess, a lady who lived in the same road as her and who always, being a lady, wore a hat and gloves had minature daffodils growing in her front garden. At that time they seem to have been less common than today. Every Spring when she saw them Grey Granite thought that the delicate little daffodils were the absolute epitomy of refinement and aspired to have some herself. This is one horticultural goal she has achieved.
