Dr Anne's friend sent this picture of Edinburgh today. Much more snow than the one he sent last week. After the thaw of Saturday night Sunday morning 2" fell last night in the north. The A98 to Fraserburgh, the A97 Huntly to Banff and the A98 Elgin to Fochabers are passable with care.
Here in Portsoy, there is ice under the snow making the pavements very slippery.
