Dr Anne started this book three times. It was a topic outside her experience and interest. She didn't know if she was interested or not. However two trips to Edinburgh solved the issue. 16+ hours in a train, the book had Dr Anne absorbed. It was an extremely well written book which kept Dr Anne focused during delays because of the closure of the Forth Road Bridge, a broke down train, a train with no heating and a noisy hennie party.
Who did it? Why did she do it? How many people were to suffer before she was found out?
Meanwhile, the detective's personal issues also added a twist. Dr Anne awards a good 7/10.
