Fruit Cage and Tree Protector

Fruit Cage
Tree Protector
The fruit cage and the tree protector have now been erected. The fruit cage is 4m x 2m and covers the black currants, the gooseberries and the red currants. It is pretty substantial and has a door. The tree protector is for the cherries. Today the blackbird has been sitting on the net. Tonight the crow was surveying the scene from the dyke.
I do hope this will prove to be a successful project.

  1. The fruit cage looks very impressive, Grey Granite has pointed out to Rufus that it could have a secondary use should he misbehave when visiting Dr Anne.
