Fruit Cage and Tree Protector
Fruit Cage
Tree Protector
Tree Protector
The fruit cage and the tree protector have now been erected. The fruit cage is 4m x 2m and covers the black currants, the gooseberries and the red currants. It is pretty substantial and has a door. The tree protector is for the cherries. Today the blackbird has been sitting on the net. Tonight the crow was surveying the scene from the dyke.
I do hope this will prove to be a successful project.
Roses
The roses on the dyke are now in full flower. They were found to be in need of a good drink today so Dr Anne brought up the hose and gave them a good soaking. The number of blooms are extraordinary.
