The day was bright and sunny today. Dr Anne and JD headed to the Christmas Markets on the Avenue des Champs Élysées. The crowds were out enjoying the weather, the food, and the fun.

Night time on the Avenue des Champs Élysées
IDr Anne and JD walked down the Avenue des Champs Élysées. It was a beautiful evening.

Dr Anne and JD are off on their travels again. They have just arrived in Paris to spend some quality time in the city. They are in a nice hotel near the Arc de Triomphe Etoile. They are enjoying a complementary champagne and macaroons in their room. Here's to Christmas 2014.

This is Dr Anne's third John Boyne in two weeks. She needs to get a life. She is in a depression. Is it November? Is it dreich weather? Is it inertia?
This was another excellent page turner, this time about the 'feather' men of WW1. What does feather men mean? Gay? Coward? Principled? Brave? The author sure does pick difficult issues. Thought provoking and inspiring. Dr Anne awards 8/10.
