#day 24 holidays Four weddings in a Week

Dr Anne has four weddings coming up this week.

Dancer, Zoe is to be married in Fyvie Castle on Saturday.  Dr Anne will be there celebrating with her and Stuart.   

The following Friday, Sheena-Kay and Michael tie the knot at Delgatie Castle.  Dr Anne will participate in a Flash Mob and lead the ceilidh dancing.  

Today Dr Anne taught the lead characters in Whisky Galore to do their wedding waltz.  It is a double wedding.  She has dancers doing an eightsome reel.  The wedding is on the 9th.

Excited...

They tell me there if a funeral in the film... Four Weddings and a Funeral all in one week.

#day 23 holidays

Dr Anne has managed to get into the garden two days in a row.  Today's task was the ivy dyke.  Five hours later having well deserved Tunnocks' Caramel Logs.

There is excitement in Portsoy.

The remake of Whisky Galore is coming to Portsoy towards the end of July.  

Dr Anne is training some Scottish Country Dancers

Meeting with former dancers

Jennifer and Anne - Marie were Dr Anne's first Highland dancers.  It was great to meet up at the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival 39 years after they started dancing together.  The 40th is going to be a celebration.

#day 2 holidays

When Dr Anne arrived home today, a Heron was standing in the middle of the green.  It was being swooped on by a flock of gulls.  It 'coured' it's head.  It went into the dell and stood there for a long time.  Eventually it flew off towards the Burnie Brae.

Dr Anne is on holiday... She wishes the weather would clear up.  Some great roses.
